Accommodation
Each of our two units are furnished for four and contain a kitchenette, with dining for four, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave. No stove.
The main bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom including bath, basin, toilet and shower. This bathroom is shared by both bedrooms.
The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The beds all have percale sheets, down duvets and electric blankets.
These units each have an open patio equipped with patio furniture for four and a weber braai on request. Charcoal/wood not supplied.
Our units are serviced daily.
Location
Pinewood House is centrally positioned in the Balgowan Valley on the Midlands Meander between Nottingham Road and Lidgetton. We are on the Old Currys Post Road, 4km's from the N3 and just off the R103 a mere 2Km's from Michaelhouse School. So whether you are visiting the Midlands on business, having a last minute weekend break or visiting your children at the nearby private schools, we are sure you will love our beautiful Midlands.
What's Available
Pinewood House is situated in what is fast becoming known as the culinary hub of the Midlands. With the numerous delectable eateries around, one is really spoilt for choice. Fine cuisine can be enjoyed in a variety of locations throughout the beautiful countryside. So depending on your mood, it may be a sumptuous feast, a relaxed pub meal, a hearty breakfast or simply a decadent country tea, the choice is yours.
Equestrian activities are on offer at neighbouring estates and for those wanting a bit of pampering, there are some wonderful health and beauty spas nearby to be enjoyed.
For keen golfers, both the Boschoek and Gowrie Golf Estates are on our doorstep.
Directions
From Durban
Take the N3 travelling towards Johannesburg. Take Exit 125, the Balgowan turnoff and turn left going onto a dirt road. Travel for approximately 4km's and you will see a black sign, "Pinewood House" on the left. Turn left and travel up the driveway keeping left and at the gatepost with Pinewood Cottages sign, keep left and go straight up to parking available in front of units. Please note, last 4km's on dirt road. See attached map for directions on tar.
From Johannnesburg
Take the N3 travelling towards Durban. After Mooi River, take Exit 125, the Balgowan turnoff and turn right crossing over the highway and onto a dirt road. Follow directions as per above from here. See attached map for directions on tar.
Adults - R250 per person per night
Children Under 12 - R150 per child per night
Children Under 2 - Stay free

CANCELLATION POLICY
50% deposit on confirmation of booking. Any cancellation received more than two weeks prior to reservation, deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation received less than two weeks prior to reservation, deposit will be forfeited.
